David Slovis

Project Manager

David Slovis brings a long and rich experience in the entertainment and event business to the Premier Events team. A graduate of Georgia State University's Commercial Music program, David's career started in the 1990's when he landed a position with Concert Southern Promotions (now Live Nation), as a Festival Assistant/Production Manager working on the Music Midtown Festival.

During his 20 year career, David has held several positions within the entertainment and events industry including Production/Road Manager of the band Sugarland, Concessions Manager at the Atlanta HiFi Buys/Lakewood Amphitheatre for Aramark Sports and Entertainment and Event & Security Manager at the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, VA. In 1999, David was the Event Coordinator for private event for Web MD at The Fox Theatre featuring Tony Bennett. He served as Crisis and Logistics Manager for the Woodstock 30th Anniversary Event.

In 1990, David served as the Promotions Assistant at WGZC-FM/Z93 Radio in Atlanta for nine years where he worked extensively with "Falcons Live" and was producer of "The Dunhams." In 2000, David became the Atlanta Events Director for Susquehanna Radio (99X and Q100). During this time he managed numerous station event and promotions projects including Big Day Out (2 day 4 stage event with $1 million budget), Urban Survivor, Live X CD Release Parties and the Q100 Station Launch Party.

David is a knowledgeable production and event logistics professional, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. He is an experienced problem solver able to tackle any unforeseen logistical challenges that are inevitable with event production. He has the capability to listen to client's vision and then transition this into reality.

David joined the Premier Events team in 2013 working part time on several key company events. In 2014, David accepted a full time position with the company as Project manager. In this role, David manages logistics planning and on-site execution of the company's event management projects including Atlanta BAR-B-Q Festival, High Museum's Atlanta Wine Auction and Beer Carnival among others.
