Premier Events was founded in 1995 to provide professional concession management services for festivals, events and entertainment venues. Since its inception, Premier Events has grown into a full service event production company offering comprehensive service in all areas of event development, planning, and execution. Professional integrity and a dedication to providing unparalleled service have allowed Premier Events to cultivate a loyal roster of clients featuring some of the largest festivals and most prominent entertainment venues in the southeast.
Rob Frazer and Jonathan Rawls formed Premier Events at the urging of legendary Atlanta concert promoters Alex Cooley and Peter Conlon. After the success of the inaugural year of Atlanta's Music Midtown Festival, the festival producers were looking for a reliable and trustworthy company to run the festival's concessions operations who shared the same vision for delivering a quality consumer experience. Music Midtown grew into one of the nation's top music festivals with more than 300,000 people attending the three (3) day annual outdoor festival.
Additional event projects followed including the Atlanta Jazz Festival and St. Patrick's Day Festival in Savannah. In 2001, Premier Events landed the concessions management contract for the prestigious Chastain Park Amphitheatre. The company's client roster for concessions management services has steadily grown to include festivals and events in the SE region and several key Atlanta area entertainment venues such as Piedmont Park, Kennesaw State University Sports and Recreation Center and more.
In 2009, the company expanded and added Laura Valente as a partner when she opted to merge her company with Premier Events. Valente's 20+ year career started in concert promotions working for Alex Cooley and Peter Conlon. It was during those early years when she first formed a strong relationship with Frazer and Rawls.
Over the years, Valente has worked with Premier Events on numerous event projects. Valente's expertise is concentrated in event management, marketing and talent buying. Her addition to the team added a new platform of services which allows Premier Events to offer their clients a full array of professional event management services.
Today, Premier Events works on more than 100 events annually including many top food, music and arts festivals including several self produced events such as the Winter Beer Carnival, Woodstock Art & Wine Festival and the Whiskey Barrel. Additionally the company develops private corporate events for Fortune 500 companies and continues to manage concessions at several area key entertainment venues.
Premier Events has garnered a solid professional reputation with clients, vendors and suppliers as well as with city officials and community representatives. The company employs a creative and talented full time team that coordinate each project which maintains the company's commitment to giving each event project personalized focused attention. Additionally Premier Events employs 20 seasonal part time employees and has access to more than 300 fully trained and TIPS certified bartending staff in Atlanta and Savannah.
